Our Introduction to Plumbing provides you the foundation for entering into a career in the plumbing industry. Over the course of 8-12 weeks you will gain both knowledge and skills in a plumbing lab environment, working with real tools and equipment, led by plumbing professionals from various parts of the industry.

You'll learn about career opportunities in the plumbing industry, safety standards, and get your hands on real plumbing tools – like pipe wrenches and Pro-press guns. Then you'll work your way through pipes, fittings, valves, and devices so that you'll know how they work together with bathroom, kitchen, laundry fixtures, and water heaters. Next, you'll see how all those components come together in the two main plumbing systems – water service distribution systems and drain, waste, & vent systems. Finally, you'll get an overview of what plumbing sytems look like in blueprints and drafting.
