Project 8 - Fall 2026
Our Fall training is scheduled to start Tuesday, September 1st with OSHA 10 certification on September 11th & 12th. The training will be complete on November 19th. This will be offered in the evenings, 5-7:30pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Membership has its privileges...
As part of TEC Guild membership, participants may engage in structured, hands-on training opportunities designed to introduce core plumbing concepts and real-world applications. Our Introduction to Plumbing training opportunity provides the foundation for entering into a career in the plumbing industry. Through hands-on training experiences, members gain both knowledge and skills in a plumbing lab environment, working with real tools and equipment, led by plumbing professionals from various parts of the industry.

Participants learn about career opportunities in the plumbing industry, health & safety standards, work ethic, and get your hands on real plumbing tools – like pipe wrenches and pro-press guns. Next, participants will work through pipes, fittings, valves, and devices so that they'll know how they work together with bathroom, kitchen, laundry fixtures, and water heaters. In addition, they'll see how all those components come together in the two main plumbing systems – water service distribution systems and drain, waste, & vent systems. Finally, participants get an overview of what plumbing systems look like in blueprints and drafting.

ABOUT US
Trades Education Center operates through the TEC Guild—a membership-based community for individuals pursuing careers in the skilled trades. Members gain access to hands-on training opportunities, industry partnerships, job connections, and a growing network of professionals committed to “Education Through Experience.”
By partnering with education and industry experts, we seek to Educate, Grow, and Maintain a Top-Tier Workforce in order to ensure a successful future for our apprentices, local businesses, and residents. Our first offering is Project 8 - Introduction to Plumbing where members with little to no plumbing experience will learn the basic tools of plumbing and how to use them so they can be an asset to a plumbing service company or any part of the plumbing industry.
Join the TEC Guild and take your first step into the skilled trades.
