The TEC Guild connects people pursuing careers in the skilled trades with professionals, employers, industry partners, and education and community organizations. It provides a place to build relationships, explore opportunities, and continue learning.
Ready to put those connections into practice? Project 10: Plumbing & Electrical provides approved participants with hands-on foundational training in two essential trades.
Participants work with real tools, materials, and residential systems—from plumbing rough-in and fixture installation to electrical wiring, circuits, testing, and troubleshooting. Safety, work ethic, communication, and problem-solving are woven throughout the experience, with instruction informed by the professionals who do this work every day.
The program includes OSHA 10, First Aid/CPR/AED, Stop the Bleed training, forklift training and evaluation, and the mikeroweWORKS Work Ethic Curriculum. Participants also receive support with resumes, interviews, and exploring career opportunities.
Spring 2027 runs January 5–April 22, with 15 instructional weeks across 16 calendar weeks, including a scheduled break. Regular classes meet Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 5:00–7:30 PM, with required additional training sessions listed in the cohort schedule

TEC Guild members may receive access to member-only resources, industry connections, job postings, and notices of training opportunities. Some training programs, events, or classes may require separate registration, eligibility review, fees, and agreements.

Our training began with Project 8: Introduction to Plumbing. Beginning in Spring 2027, Project 10: Plumbing & Electrical expands that foundation into two essential trades, combining residential plumbing and electrical skills with safety, work ethic, and workforce preparation.
The TEC Guild extends those connections beyond the classroom, bringing participants, graduates, employers, industry partners, and community organizations together to support continued learning and career opportunities.
